Ok, so I'm using the latest SmugMug export plugin in LR 4.1 RC on a Mac and the keywords are suddenly not transfering to Smugmug. Anyone else having problems with keywords not transfering?

I'm using LR 4.1 RC4 on my mac and keywords are transferring just fine.
Can you please look under Help > System Info to see verify which RC you have, mine say...
Lightroom version: 4.1 RC [822793]

I've got Lightroom version: 4.1 RC [820174] on my Mac with the latest plugin.
Keywords were ok on an initial upload, adding more keywords transferred ok on republish and removing them again in LR removed them on SmugMug.
(and now I'm off to look for a newer 4.1RC!)

David,
Mine says
Lightroom version: 4.1 RC [820174]
I'm going to download a newer RC and test again.
Well, went looking but couldn't find a different RC. Downloaded again but it's the same version [820174]

are you stripping metadata in the publisher configuration?

Barrie,
Not that I'm aware of. In the metadata section of the Smugmug plugin, the dropdown select says 'all' and the two checkboxes labeled Remove Location Info and Write Keywords as Lightroom Hierarchy are both unchecked.
BTW, this used to work perfectly with LR3.6 and the previous version of the plugin, but stopped working since updating to LR4 and the most current version of the plugin.
On regular exports to the hard-disk, the keywords are written to the exported files. It's only when directly publishing to Smugmug via the plugin that they are not written.

It was a possible source of the problem (the metadata is loaded from the embedded EXIF).
I think I've exhausted my ideas, so over to David...

Please supply for links to images in SmugMug galleries where I can download and inspect the metadata.

The keywords aren't showing up for that gallery because you have 'Hide Owner' set to true, if you change that to false....you will see the keywords.
