well i took the son down by the marsh today to see what kind of insects we could find. i we came across this little guy, not sure what it is.
I took a lot of pics and im not to happy with most of them, there just a little blurry and i was using my mono pod because i find it easier to carry and i think it works better when doing this kind of macro. Can anyone give me some tips and if i need to i can post an example...thanks for looking..

Might need to see some example pics of the blurry photos.- does it look like missed focus or more like motion blur ?
It looks like you had a good shutter speed for this photo 1/640th which should be fast enough to stop motion blur, but the aperture is fairly open meaning you will have fairly narrow DOF and focus will be more critical.
