Bridalveil Falls - Color or B/W?

A recent day-trip to Yosemite, It was pretty foggy when I got there. Only Bridalveil Falls was visible at Tunnel View. I cropped it as a 4:5 at the top because it was all fog, so I chose to crop the top of the falls.

Color for me. Even though the color is muted and minimal because of the fog, the color in the image gives it depth, detail, and immediacy. The black and white version is flat and somewhat lacking in fine detail, more like a watercolor than an actual image.

The black and white image does remind me a little of Ansel Adams' work, though.

I also like the black and white, but it does need more range to have the depth of the color one.

I'm not a B/W guy but I really do think the B/W image is more dramatic. Nice work

I like the B&W, but would crop out the bottom fog. It's the brightest area of the image and draws the eye down, when the main subject is the falls.
