I've just added a photo booth to my offering at weddings and wanted to share the sort of thing I'm going to be doing.

Basic setup is 8' x 7' Lastolite Hilite and 4 speedlights to keep everything fully portable and not needing power.

The first photo is what the couple would recieve as a finished product and then I've included a few of those shots as well a little larger.

My thanks go to Nick from Boundless Photos who kindly let me shoot his photo booth so that I had images to show potential customers.

I'm here to learn so please feel free to give me constructive criticism to help me become the photographer I desire to be.

These are extremely popular at weddings and the more people have to drink the more......or less......umm...lets just leave it at that.
I've run these with my partner and she has quite the collection of props.
You did a fine job with the lighting and I can tell by the pictures everyone is having a blast!

    Congrats!
High Key setup is, without a doubt, the simplest setup for such type of events that delivers the most professional look on a budget.
And just FYI, I have a windows app specially designed for the photobooth (real time upload) purposes... mwink.gif

Thanks all, I'm looking forward to a week on Tuesday as I'm shooting the first customer who asked for a photo booth about a year ago so like any good sales person, I said it would be possible and then have sorted everything out ready for them. Have others booked later in the year so it will very soon have paid for itself.

At the moment I'm not offering on site printing as I shoot solo and like to keep things simple, it is something that I might add at a later date.

On site printing is the next logical step though I do recommend having an assistant if you pursue that :D

I agree, for now I don't have budget to do anything extra so this model will hopefully do. It comes in at less than half the price to a client than hiring a 'box' so think it should do well.

are these SOLD and or printed on location while the subjects are ready to buy?.......
almost makes me wish i still did weddings...
Love your set-up...lighting is great & the kit sounds very easy to work with...
I'm a Kidnapper... I take terrible pictures of people, then hold them for ransom.

I got a slightly smaller Lastolite which I am going to try out today using my DD for a maternity shoot. You made it look easy, hope I can figure it out quickly!
