Had quite a trying day yesterday, one freason or another, so after taking Ruby to Gymnastics, we popped to my little studio and burned off a little excess energy. Jumping!

What do you think?

(I see I have some slight variations in WB again! I know what I did wrong. But if you want to comment on the contrast of Ruby and the light in terms of spill etc., then please do. :) )

So full of spirit she is indeed.
Hard to tell on this display as it's not calibrated but when I get home I'll have a look see as well.

Thanks. Yes, I'm at work and not calibrated, too. :)

    Cheers

Looking at these at home now and this set looks very nicely lit and you've handled spillage well.
    Kudos to you

Thank you. Lit the background with one light, and reflected that from the left. made my own V-cards to reflect. Also extended the runway, so Ruby was further away from the BG which helped I think. :)

    Cheers

Wow. That BG is very evenly lit for only one light! And just how far in front would you estimate she was?

One light reflected. And metered to be 2 stops lighter than the subject. It WAS evenly lit, with the odd (and I mean not much at all) crease mark. I had some PP to smooth those bits. But a lot less PP on these than my previous attempts.

She was about 2 - 2.5m from the BG in some f these...I extended the floor so she could move away from the BG.
