The Apache Trail

I took a Sunday ride out onto the Apache Trail, which is East of the Phoenix Metro. This was my first ride since the little knee surgery, so I took it easy.
I stopped to shoot this panoramic HDR that is comprised of 36 images.
The water isn't as smooth as I would like. It was windy and a boat wake
caused me to spend a lot of time cloning away the stitch lines.

I shot a lot of photos of the bike since I recently made modifications.

Just after sunset I was able to get this with a single exposure. (I love the Pentax K-5)

Yes the sky was really that color, in case you haven't seen the desert sunset through the Phoenix haze.

Probably too many motorcycle photos and HDRs for here, but the sunset happened so fast I didn't get many comps without the bike in it.

    Dave,

The Apache Trail is one of my favorite "day trips" from the Phoenix area. The KTM is lookin' good, but I have to admit I kind of miss "ol' orange".

    Take care friend,

    Glenn

Thanks Glenn. I've noticed the black isn't as photogenic as the sparkly orange, especially in HDRs. However; I already have too many picture of the orange bike.mwink.gif
