I got over to Annapolis with my son today. We had been following Matt Rutherford's solo trip. He sailed solo non-stop from Annapolis to Annapolis -- after going around North and South America.

The story is even stranger still -- in a used 27' Vega (?), a modest boat and with modest experience.
