With temperatures in the 70's and 80's this week, I'm sure these snowy owls photographed last weekend in northwestern Montana will be headed back to their arctic home soon...

Shot with a Canon 7D and Canon 500mm f/4 lens

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

    Never seen an owl
    Where do owls hang out?

I have never seen a wild owl anywhere.

Been in Arctic areas, such as Alaska's Denali National Park, also Churchill, Manitoba, Canada (Polar Bears), but no owls.

And certainly nothing so beautiful as the Snowy Owls you photographed.
