If any of you know someone serving in Carrier Strike Group One, they're enjoying a couple of days R&R here in Fremantle, Western Australia. They're all safe and sound!

Here are a few of the USS Carl Vinson. It has to moor off the coast, because nuclear powered vessels aren't allowed in port. I took these with my Sigma 50-500, and a 1.4X teleconverter.

That looks like one of the Australian Navy Collins class subs on the passing, all based at Fleet Base West.
