I really want to like this, but it's not quite working for me. I think we need to see more of the far horse and buggy and less sky. .
It was an experiment in using negative space. Not a particularly
successful experiment, but that was the intent. If the image is
cropped down to just the "right" amount of sky, it's a blah image.
Not all experiments work out all that well. At least for me.
The shot was deliberately taken from a lower-than-the-track
position in order to frame just part of the horses and a lot of
sky. The two-way aspect was just a catch.
I have several - too many, in fact - of standard captures taken
at this harness horse training facility. I have some of them up
in a gallery at my SmugMug site.
