Moss Beach Sunset

Hey all. Here is a photo from Moss Beach, near Pacifica, California, from a few weeks ago. I've never been to this beach before, but it's quite picturesque. I love the little river that winds its way into the ocean. It was overcast when I arrived, but the sunset ended up being far prettier than any of us expected.

Very nice composition, Matt. Shooting up the stream at sunset was a really good move. I love the ripples in the sand and the way the stream curves into the sun. I just wish it was larger so we could make out the details better. Even the large version is small on my 24" 1920 wide monitor. Also, I'd embed the larger size into your post next time. We have a "stretchy" feature on Dgrin so that you can post your large version and we downsize it to fit the user's browser.

I'm enjoying your Smugmug gallery. I'm new to shooting in the bay area and I'm getting a lot of good ideas from you.
