Thanks, Thusie, Birdman and John. Ironically this is just the beginning of oyster season. I got a shot of this oyster catcher earlier. A very disappointing thing.
I tried everything to expose it correctly. And to top that off, his face is always hidden and there are no noticeable oysters around to see.
I did not know there were two OYSTER catchers there. This was my first catch of an oyster catcher, smile.:
I like bird reflections, too, love them. Looking again, I think those photos could use a bit of punch with curves, don't know.
One thing I like about birds is when they get to walking very fast, the long bird strut I guess I could call it. One of the photos has that, plus the reflection.
I also like it when they appear to look at themselves. I have a few more from that night, Sat, to work up. I just kept taking photos. I took them past the point of reason and ended up with blur, but I am glad I have that tendency, what I get can be worth it! And it is so beautiful where ever I am at that time of day.

I would like the oyster catcher ...... if he'd send me a few (I have lemon and hot sauce waiting) :eat :food
Thanks, Ben. The really bad thing is that I don't like oysters, and I think one of the most fun things about Charleston is its oyster roasts!
I had an oyster, ONCE, in the 80s. I was a biology major, haha, I could see the intestinal tract of the oyster and that was it for me.......... Maybe now that I am 66 (on the 20th), I should try another, but what to do with the intestinal tract. doG, I love an oyster roast!
(You don't put pineapple on yours, Ben?)
I redid the birds with a bit of pop, I hope. I enhanced the S curve, rgb, and I added 15 of saturation. I hope it is a bit better.
maybe I should have added more red in the beak? Oh, well, for now.......
Excellent shots Ginger. That sweet light makes such a differenc ein one's shots.
