Hi Smuggers!

I am not a Smug Mug user (yet!). I have been on this site for a couple of weeks trying to figure out if Smug Mug is right for me. So far I like what I see but have a question for all of you experts!!!

If I sell photos off of Smug Mug is it a white label service or will my customers see that I am selling through Smug Mug???

    With our Pro account we do offer you some branding options. This way your customers will receive their orders with your personal branding instead of ours. Check out the info about that here: http://help.smugmug.com/customer/portal/articles/93350

    Chantelle, your site is yours. Everything is about your brand - you can completely customize the look and feel of your SmugMug site and your orders can have your brand on a Thank You print, and a sticker on the package.

    As mentioned, your site look and feel is nearly completely under your control, and there are branding options you can use when selling prints, but the answer to the question is that your customers will see that you are using SmugMug during checkout. I believe you can specify a logo file of your own which will also display on those pages, but that is in addition to, not instead of, the SmugMug logo.

    What about things like emails and packages? Does my customer get an email confirmation of their orders? And does it look like it came from me or from Smug Mug? When prints arrive do they have a packing slip that has my name on it or Smug Mugs?

    Order confirmation and shipping emails come from us and can't be customized at this point.

    In regards to order, you can make use of order branding to have your own sticker / thank you print included. That would replace the default SmugMug branding. All details are on the order branding help page.
