I was too slow off the mark...a few steps prior had the sunlight shining through his beer. Could have done with a faster shutter also.

No saturation added to them...it was just on fire.

WoW amazing color! What's the blue color in the clouds on the second one? Light coming through the clouds?

Tks guys...the blueish colour is just the neutral sky behind the low cloud.

I was making a coffee (4.48am) & saw a ray of red light spear under my arm & hit the stove so i walked outside saw it all starting to unfold....it was like a shark feeding frenzy..lens's flying.. tripod/cards/batteries as you only get it for a few mins...maybe 2-3. I got it when i saw the bloke walking along drinking a beer of all things. I had to throw the 400mm on asap & shoot at what ever speed it landed at 1/100 i think.

I don't know, we had some pretty good stuff Sat night, but I had to keep my 400 on and concentrate on the city. Like your sky, ours was on fire, too. Like fireworks, it built to a crescendo of beauty. Love those sets and rises, with any clouds involved...........gorgeous!

You done good and you live right, gus!

That sunrise is insane. I've never seen one like that, but I guess it would help if I could open my eyes before the second cup of coffee.

    Excellent series.

There was a day when cold pizza and warm beer were common breakfast foods. Fortunately (or unfortunately depending on how you look at it) our tastes change a bit as we get older.
