Just got my smugmug account (thanks again 2 dgrin/andy/mods etc) and doing a little tester gallery to see if things are working fine.

Well, it's a good excuse to share these bird pictures I got today at Leeds castle. No BIF's, all taken in cages/aviary and taken with my 350D/sigma 24-70 in JPEG (m) and I've tried a little post work using a basic editing program.(brightness/contrast/unsharp mask). Had to sharpen up them all, not sure if it's me or the lens? Feel free to add any comments, overdone/underdone anything, still in my 1st year photog' wise.

The birds were great, very friendly, jumped to the front of the cages as soon as I arrived and let me stroke them without any hassle. I was fairly happy with the two shots that don't show the cage.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Actually, they keep Ben. They kind of feel he's a bit too "high maintenance". rolleyes1.gif
