i tried camera awesome for uploading pics from my iphone and absolutely hate it ,for some reason emailing to my gallery don't work using the method they suggested ..is there any better uploader to smugmug from an iphone

What happens when you try sharing photos to SmugMug via Camera Awesome? Are you getting an error, is it stalling/crashing, etc? Camera Awesome is probably the easiest method for uploading photos to SmugMug from your iPhone. There is another third-party app called Camera Share which allows uploading to SmugMug, but I honestly haven't used that app, and I can't speak to it's merits.

If you're having problems sharing in Camera Awesome, one thing you can go is to go to your iPhone settings > Camera Awesome, and Reset the Sharing accounts here. Then, go back to Camera Awesome, and then reconfigure the sharing settings for SmugMug and the other sharing services. Then try sharing again. This may solve the problem for you.

ok i think resetting worked..my question now has to do with the option to have the iCloud archiving on..im not sure what it does?

Camera Awesome doesn't have iCloud support. The cloud archive option is for when you use SmugMug, you can set up a special archive gallery that all photos you take are uploaded to. If you enable "archive over wi-fi only", no archiving is done when you're on 3G.

I have recently joined smugmug and have been trying the Camera! App.

It's an excellent app to take pictures and upload to smugmug.

There is something I am not sure if I am doing it wrong. From my iPhone, I want to upload some pictures that I had taken using the native iPhone camera app, basically I want to upload pictures from my camera roll. What I find inconvenient is that the Camera! app allows me to select only one photo from the camera roll at a time. Is this intentional or am I missing some thing.

Hi Amar,
Glad to hear you're enjoying the app! Right now it's only possible to import one photo at a time from the camera roll. Maybe in a future version there will be a way to do this in bulk. Thanks for the suggestion!

I did the one step sharing from Camera Awesome to my smugmug account, all 431 of them, one at a time...where are they? Where is cloud archive and how do access these pictures? What am I missing here???

The gallery by default is called "Camera Awesome Archive" and usually resides in the Other category on your site unless you've reassigned it. Of course, it's only created and populated if you have the cloud archive option enabled and your SmugMug account added to the app. Turning on the feature, it would not upload any past photos, only the new ones you're taking whlle the feature is on.
