Did a little surfing today. This shot I grabbed of the wife was much more exciting than any of the waves. :D

Thanks all. It's funny because I almost didn't bring my camera with me because it was mid day when we left. I always go through this stupid struggle whether or not to bring my camera with me when going on outings. I always end up regretting it when I don't.

Now for the big question........did you plan this or was it serendipitous? I find that some of my best shots are serendipitous. I'm trying to get those into the recognized catagory but that is coming very slowly. Such a great shot and a keeper. (not your wife, she is too but the shot).

I had just surfed for a couple of hours. Walked up and grabbed my towel to head over to the life guard station to get my wet-suit off. She was busy reading and didn't really notice me. I quietly grabbed my camera bag and walked off. I positioned myself so I wouldn't get any people in the BG, got down low and snapped a couple shots. She didn't even know I took the pic until she saw on my iMac as the wall paper. It looks freaking awesome on that 27" display. Gonna have this one printed and framed.

Cool Shot! Reminds me a little of the "Miami...See it Like a Native" poster back in the 80's that ended up getting banned, but not before several thousand got sold. There is a lot of potential for this shot to be used for advertising purposes. The first thing that comes to my mind would be a Coppertone ad.

Sorry Daniel. I know how much you prefer to see my self portraits. Next weekend, I will make sure to setup the same shot but with me in it.

Stab with a fork? You do it the easy way! You need to do the eye stabbing with something more blunt, like a Spoon or something. :D

Fantastic shot bro! Don't listen to this fork stabber. He knows not of what he speaks. :D

OK, I've made enough comments about your wife's gorgeousness in the past to qualify for "creeper" status, so I'll stay away from that. Please tell me that's a PP vignette, and not blowing sand!?!?! eek7.gif
