Please remember thumbnail crop ratio

I feel like I've begged and pleaded for a better way to crop thumbnails for years now. It's certainly a huge amount faster than it ever was, but it still is a tedious task when hundreds of images are in play. I'm currently working on a gallery of 475 photos with many portrait-oriented shots and it's taking a ton of time.

While something like the old hack BZT would be ideal, there is a very easy way to make the current process infinitely better...just remember the last selected crop ratio.

I would guess the vast majority of people use a single ratio for an entire gallery - either square (1x1), original, custom, 3x2 or something. If the tool remembered the selection instead of reverting back in the drop down menu, cropping an image and moving the the next photo would be a fast two click process (1. drag to adjust crop 2. click "Save"). It could potentially cut the time required per image in half. In the aggregate, that's a huge time savings.

Finally, other than the time required to develop this setting, I see no downside to this approach. If anyone does in fact use different ratios for every photo, there would be no change to the workflow at all.

This can only help.

Thanks for listening!!
