    I liked 1 and 3 the best, im not sure about 7, the light in the water makes it look fakeish, and the water looks like one blob(not enough rocks to break up the water i think? not your control). Nice series, my 2 cents.

    Is the black bag at the front of the boat in pic 1 a camera aimed at the rowers?

    Hey Michael--very nice. I would guess the Yough except the first shot shows a river that is narrower. In any case, it's somewhere in my old stomping (or paddling) grounds of WV or environs...

    Good eyes -- the Lowery Yough and the Cassleman.

    In the first photo, I'm in the eddy below the big rock in Six Pack Rapid (the last rapid above Dimple).

    As to the black bag -- no camera -- just storage for the bow line. :)

    It looks like number 5 is just below Dimple, though the rock is not exactly as I remember. (haven't run the Yough in 10+ years, though spent much of my childhood running it...)
