The second is quite interesting. Looking up at the building really messes with the brain. Trying to put all of that together makes for a pleasing experience.

On the first one, I may be missing something in the image. In my personal opinion, the second is far stronger and exposes the idea perfectly. I'm not sure the first one adds anything. Just my opinion of course. Perhaps it is because the second is so strong, so comparing them isn't really fair?

The first one I found too busy - didn't know where to look. The second drew me immediately.

The second one is interesting ! I would like it more if the top was cropped off at the top of the building in the mirror .

Saw these last night on my cell and immediately dismissed the first one.
I now still find it too busy, however I find myself liking it, though yes it's still too busy.

The second I like so much more. Very interesting capture.

If you're inclined to categorize, the first is a context shot (I'm partial to bikes) - the second subject centric.

I like both but they're apples and oranges.

The important thing is the shots work well even with the stereotypical use of mirror.

    Good work

The first doesn't work for me, as it's cluttered, and what's in the mirror really doesn't add anything to the scene. The second, however, is quite nice.

#2 is good seeing, Jennifer. Don't think much of #1.

I guess I'm not surprised at the heavy preference for the second. Thanks for the comments and feedback.

The second image is brilliant. I love the tones, comp, context, all of it. The best way that I can see to improve
this image is to simply remove the first. The first image is such a juxtaposition from the second, that I feel it takes away from the second as the second one will stand
on its own all day long. :) Killer stuff.

I wonder if #1 would work better in color. It might draw gasps of horror here
in Stree....I mean "Documentary", but color might give the mirror enough
separation from the rest of the scene so the "clutter" effect isn't there.
