    It would look even better if you opened things up with a pretty big reverse D curve

    Can you extrapolate on that?

    Also, I think I would have preferred to make this one of those: "Is this something?" thread, because I am kind of obsessed with this one.

    Thank you, Javier. They were sitting next to some steps, so I just used those to get the vantage point.

    Original shot does not show for me...

    Not sure what a big reverse D curve is... but I suspect it is similar to my thought that the shadows need brightening and the brightness needs toning down as the interest is in the bottom right and I want a little more detail to show there.
