OK, my keyboard still works after having coffee spitted up on it. Love the title and the capture.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Fabulous shot, Mole. Looks as if the "bride" wasn't too happy with you.

Hahhahaha, I love this lens. Great shot. The framing is just wonderful, and is really assisted by the square crop I'm betting.

Another thing I've noticed about this image, lens, is that it's perfect in color. While I'm sure I would be drawn to the eyes and the expression if I looked at it B&W, the orange sunglasses are literally an eye magnet in a scene with relatively boring tones. Smart move.

Thank you ! The focus point was on his eyes and the obvious focal point of the image is the white veil
lucky for me . I wanted the lipstick on the veil to come out as well. This image was taken with a 135mm L a very contrasty lens .
I keep my camera setting as follows. This way I can add contrast or saturation, but if they are set too high you can't take it away. H C B liked shooting in diffused light on overcast days because this provided him with the tones he liked in his B & W images part of his style you could say.

    Canon 5d mii

    Sharpness 3
    Contrast -4
    Saturation -4
    Tone 0

Thanks again for your comments Quincy very much appreciated !

That 135mm L is beastly. I'd get it, but I think I will spend my cash money on a 70-200.

I have been shooting with only a 35mm lens for about 6 months and have a bunch of lenses I don't use.
I purchased a 50mm 1.4 a couple of weeks ago and tried it once and it kind of freaked me out because it has auto focus and the beeps, made me sort of snap happy, also the perceptive seemed way to close for me and I dumped it in the bag with the others, but I gave it another try today
because its such a nice lens but the manual focus ring feels bad .

I love the 50mm 1.4, particularly after having the 1.8 for some time. I use it on my film camera as well, and it makes me want to switch to full frame digital, but I'll get over it.
