Which did better......

# 1 was done with my 828 with as crucial of focus as I could do....with Sony Close-up VCL-M3358 lens.

#2 was done with my 10D with a Canon 28-80mm and the Canon 250D Close-up lens

#1 was on a sunny day #2 was today overcast.

We are looking for focus and sharpness. Mind you the Sony has the Zeiss lens and the Canon 28-80mm is their cheapo non USM Non IS.
Sony was set at 8mp and the 10D is 6.3mp.
Both are same flower in same spot.
Forgive the battle scar on #2 we had hellish winds here nite before last.

    Explain???
Explain why you chose the shots you did.

I was told by many here that #1 was OOF.
Almost all the pics I have taken with the 828 I was told that.headscratch.gifne_nau.gif

Not that familiar with ANY Sony cameras, but was wondering if it has a digital zoom function.....and was it used? I have experienced problems with some camera's digital zooms...after they have been dropped. Just a thought. I have a camera that works beautifully..until you try and use the digital zoom feature. Then EVERY picture is blurry. Probably some little glitch in the AF system. Might need recalibrating? Just a thought.

Ben..buddy. You'd rather eat bird droppings on your pizza..than admit the Canon image was better..eh? rolleyes1.gif

iI also have the F828 and GraphyFotoz comment about OOF on his made me take notice. I fight every picture and can't seem to achieve crisp, sharp focus either on AF or manual.

I don't have another camera to take same shot photos like Graphy.
I"m curious about this since I'm not sure if it's "me ole eyes", the camera or what.
