I'm still alive :) Few recent portraits.
Hi, Dgrinners!
I haven't been here in a while. Just wanted to say hello to everyone.
Here are a few of my recent portraits. They're not on my blog nor on my portfolio yet. I'm terrible at updating things.
These are linked to Facebook, so the quality is not the bestest.

PS. Except for 9, I did all their make-up too!

Thanks! I hadn't thought of them as a whole or as a set altogether, but yes, 9 does stick out now that I'm scrolling down. The only one outdoors, and one of the two in which I used light to overpower the ambient. #10 is the other one. Also, with 9 I wanted to make her youthful since it's a quince, and it sticks out next to the others posing wise. Very true and something for me to remember if I decide to blog them as a set.

Hahaha headless and over saturated will always have a special place in my heart though! To be fair, I was in a very artistic place back then, hip deep in art history, theory and photography for my undergrad
Also, now that I have grown a bit, I look back and think of photography style like make-up. As a teenager, you have to experiment with the bright blues and greens, the heavy eyeliner and saturated lips, so that you know what look and style you are comfortable with when you're older.

Haha I can't take credit for their natural gorgeousness, but for everything else, thanks

To make it easy, I like everyting except # 4 which seems washed out and dull to me.
I love #s 1, 5, 7, 10 and 11.
