When I use flash on camera, I usually go for a FlashBender or Flip-it!. Pop-up flash?.. needless to say, don't really use it. And when I'm stuck with it, I use a napkin or something similar in front of the flash to make myself feel better 
. The new Pop-up Flip-it! looked like a cool idea, so I got one, and i have to say... I am NOT AFRAID of the pop-up flash anymore!!! :D Seriously though, the design is quite clever: reasonable light loss, plenty of options to get the shot right (considering that you are using a pop-up flash, of course). Thought, this info can be useful to folks here. Honestly, I don't think I'll be using this modifier a lot 
, but I will definitely buy a few as presents for my friends that are "not-so-professional"
