I like it but try to bump up the contrast and saturate the colors

    Curves!
Not sure what time you took this, or how dark it was, but I'd use curves to give it some punch!

Edit: I tried auto curves and it worked wonders!

Since I have not read much of the Dan Margulis book, I tend to use his basic recipie on everything.
In particular, this kind of picture is perfect for it. I tried the technique on your photo and it really brought it to life.
If you have not read this thread you should do so.
It has made a huge difference to my landscapes.

Adding the S made it a LITTLE too bright......Here was what I came up with:

First, I would like to say that I really like the photo. I agree with the other posters that a little more color needs to be added to give it some vitality. Composition and theme are great. thumb.gif

Here's my attempt at adjusting along with the work-flow.

I work with nik Color EFEX Pro and used a couple of the filters from it.
    1. Brilliance/Warmth (nik)
    2. Saturation (PS Master +15)
    3. Lighten/Darken Center (nik - lightened center and darken edges to lead the viewer into and down the path)
    4. Unsharp mask
Even though I used nik filters most can be done in PS by increasing the saturation about another +10 over the amount that I added in the work-flow. The burn tool could have been used to darken the sides to lead the viewer down the path.
