smugmug publish question- size

I am using the smugmug publish service in lightroom4.
Now that I am working with d800 size files- is there a setting that I can control the size of the image that I send to smugmugs? It seems to be sending the entire 3500x2400+ file- takes forever.
Is there a way to set or limit the size/resolution of the upload?
Right now I export the files as jpgs, max size 1200 and then upload and would love to save a step.

Hi Gary,

Just configure the Publish Service to use the same size settings as you do for export (it's core Lightroom export/publish functionality). Double click on the SmugMug service heading in the Publish Services tab and you will get access to the Publishing Manager:
