Little Egret at the Oysterbed Lagoon

This is the first of a series taken at the Oysterbed, Hayling Island today.
The Little Egret in Europe is very similar to the Snowy Egret in North America.
I saw some walkers with dogs approaching the lagoon. I knew that all I would have to do was to wait for the egret to be alarmed and take off.
Hope you like these.
Common Tern to follow.

Good morning Pam. Thanks for your reply. These Egret were rare visitors to the UK 20 years ago, Now, they are seen all the year round on our coastline in the south and also in Wales.
