All my styling is gone.

Is this temporary?

I can't grasp the notion of time.

When I hear the earth will melt into the sun,
in two billion years,
all I can think is:
"Will that be on a Monday?"

Try doing a shift+refresh - because I can see your site fine in all the browsers at my disposal.

I had to go to my 'co-branding' settings... luckily all my code was still there.
I hit the 'save' button and everything is fine again... at least at first look.
release early, release often: keeping our customers on their toes
you can say that again! If i had not gone into my site i would have never noticed and it still would look awfull....

    But it works again!

In the future, could you guys send out an e-mail that an update/new-release is coming? I, and many others, would appreciate that.

Despite this gripe, you guys (smugmug) do great work! thumb.gif

I did that and i tried on another computer...
I had to re-save my co-branding settings (see my previous post). That fixed it.

There was some sort of temporary hiccup somewhere, because at the time he posted this, I clicked on his link and saw none of the expected styling that is now visible.

I see externally hosted sytlesheets in the page, so I wonder if those were somehow unavailable for a brief period and that's what caused the garden variety display.

Anyway, it seems to be working now.

    It was not a hiccup.
When my styling would not load, i did a 'view source'. It showed that the contents of the co-brandings' 'CSS' and 'JavaScript' fields were not there at all (the contents of 'body', 'header' and 'footer' were there, however).

That's why i tried to just hit 'Save' on my co-branding page without changing any of the fields on that page. This worked. :)

I've just had a look & there is no customisation visible - there is a reference to broken code at the bottom of the page. I have been having problems too (Andy has been helping me out) with just my footer showing up & nothing else - now resolved on one of my sites & hope the other will be sorted shortly. It looks like the new SM changes have had issues with my code, although it used to work fine with it.

I'm pleased that there is lots of help from SM & on dgrin but it does seem like every time there is a SM update that it causes problems with a number of peoples sites.

The broken code is the StatCounter javascript. Since my co-branding's JavaScript is not loading, the StatCounter-part that is in the footer (which does load OK(???)) generates this 'Code corrupted...' text.

I hope my site will work again soon....

Hang in there - Andy & the SM guys have just resolved all my problems and I'm sure that help will be on its way to you too.

By the way, I had statcounter code on my site & it seems that the new changes didn't like the code, hence the problems. My statcounter code is now in the 'header' section and seems to work fine now.

Good in the header or footer but not anywhere near the body tag :D
