Help me choose?

My mother loves dandelions, the more the better (go figure! most people try to eradicate them).
Anyway, I decided to take a few shots of the field across the way and have one done up as a nice wall hanging for her. I've narrowed the selection to one of two, but I could really use some help choosing. Your thoughts and/or C&C please?

I like the first one the best and would print that one for her. If it were me I would crop the top of the pic I find the sky distracting.....:D
Thanks. That's my favourite too and I agree about the sky. Much appreciated.

“The single most important component of a camera is the twelve inches behind it!” - Ansel Adams
but narrow top-to-bottom. That's very possible with a field of dandelions. Cost you a little more in
framing, but it would be more effective.
Also, I'd shoot it from an oblique angle so the dandelions at the left end would be in sharp focus, but
start to blur towards the right. Sharp-to-blur forward-to-back is overdone with flower fields.
And, I'd like a nice, but narrow, strip of good blue sky above.

Good point. Not sure about the dandelion wine (blech!) but I know she just loves all the colour and contrast of the yellow and green. Yep - gotta give momma what she wants!

Now that's a possibility. I shot the original two using a 20mm ultra wide angle lens, lying on a plastic garbage bag on a wet field (yech), in order to get as much of the field as possible (there are ACRES of dandelions over there). Hadn't thought of setting up low and doing a panorama. If the flowers are still there tonight I may try and re-shoot. Thanks.
