Hi all, I have a general and more specific question... I have not yet set up my digital download pricing and am wondering if there are any standards to go by or information anyone has on pricing appropriately? I was also just approached to purchase 4 of my photos for use on someone's website and I am not sure how much to charge? Can anyone offer their own experience and/or resources about pricing? Thanks a bunch! :wink

    Hi pixiephotomuse,

There really are no standards and the price you set for a image for commercial use is really up to you, and the type of profit you want to make. Consider the image is going to be visible for many viewers, so you should treat it as more of a stock image or as if someone hired you to do a shoot for their project.

My single image download prices for commercial use is shown in the following screen capture: http://screencast.com/t/0URZplBe8dBe

I hope this helps and you can always contact us at the helpdesk for further assistance.

Thank you, Tyree. That helps to get me started. It's such an amorphous topic! Any books or resources you can recommend?
