Filters for Wide Angle

Good evening from the west coast!
I am finding myself more and more wanting a darker ND for longer exposures during the day. Primarily for waterfalls and the usual suspects. I currently have an ND4 which is only 2 stops? (if I recall correctly).

My main question is what do I need as far as a drop-in type system to get started? I shoot with my 10-24 on a DX sensor, so it is very much wide angle. I figure if I'm going to invest in some filters, it would be good to get a system/kit that can work with a variety of lenses with the proper adapter rings of course.

I have looked at Cokin and Lee holders, I couldn't find any Tiffen products, only the filters themselves. After reading through some of the product lines, I decided it would probably be a good idea to ask for some guidance on which line up would work for my wide angle setup. It won't only be used with my wide angle, but my goto lenses both run on 77mm, so that's the range I'll start with.

Budget wise, hard to say, so I'll consider all options. This is not for professional use, so the best of the best is not a requirement, but definitely don't want bottom of the barrel.

Links, suggestions, guidance or anything would be much appreciated.
