Suggestions for managing favorites

Right now clients can select one set of favorites using the event system. Curious how other people manage things when they need to create sets for different reasons? These could be for things like the album, gifts for parents and slideshows.

Right now all I can do is ask for an email list which works most of the time.

Anyone else worked out a better system?

    You could just have the client register again for the event to be able to select a new set of favorites. They could then open up either of their personal event pages just by using the appropriate link from the confirmation email for their registration.

    Wouldn't then need to have a new email address for every different collection?

    They can use the same email address. Once they confirm the event registrations, they can bookmark each event page for ease of getting back to their event.
