Had fun shooting with Joel and Shimon at Big Sur this past weekend Joel gave me a good name for this one.

Nice Dan. I was there Thursday. I was going to try and meet up with you guys but the wife put the kibosh on my plans. Said it was time to spend with family, not my Dgrin buddies.

BTW, I was there around midday so my shots kind of suck. BUT... the most amazing thing happened while we were there. A mother whale with her calf swam into the cove. They remained there for at least an hour. Were still there when we left. They just swam around the large rock that is in the center of the cove. They were literally within feet of the shore. So awesome. I got some pics of them I will share later.

Very good shots, Dan. I like the way you got the whole sun in the "smoke" shot. Also, that second one came out really nicely! Processing is really good there. Great seeing you and Shimon.
