I recruited my two year old again to sit for me. This time I pulled him a good distance away from the backdrop which I think is going to become my new "must".

    That's how he smiles on demand, its sort of hilarious.

    For the curious;
    Flash is a LumoPro 160 bounced off a shoot through umbrella, camera is a d5100 and forget the lens and other button and dial nonsense.

    Very nice shot. I'm not a fan of painted backdrops, but if you keep your subject far away from the backdrop like you did, they certainly look a lot better.

    Yeah I totally with the backdrops, I need a bigger "studio" room in my house now..

    Hey, I was looking further on your smug mug album and noticed this pictures DSC_3193. Is that a person behind the lady's head or a ghost. Sure seems like a ghost.

    It caught my attention. It's in both the the colored and black and white. Both look very creepy!
