iPad app

Is there any timeline for fixing the iPad app? If not, I wanted to poll the forum for suggestions on an alternative (most of the suggestions I have seen by searching are not particularly current).

Key requirement:
Being able to download multiple photos from smugmug onto iPad's library.

Bonus feature:
some notification about which galleries have been updated

Downloading photos and videos to iPad?
I assume downloading and saving on the iPad is. Being worked on?

I just got my first iPad last Sunday and wonder how this will work and where I would save them on the iPad.
I downloaded from my laptop and uploaded to Dropbox which I am new to too thinking I could download from their iPad app, but it seems I can only play the video.
I want to have the ability to store my photos and videos on my iPad if I so desire.

Hi Karen,

You can use the save button at the top right within a gallery in the app to download a gallery to the iPad app for offline use. That way you can view the photos and videos in the gallery even when you have no internet connection.
Saving of videos to your camera roll for use in other apps isn't an option in the iPad app at this point. You can only save a photo by holding your finger while viewing it big and selecting the "save to library" option.
