PS CS2 Help Needed

All of a sudden (I don't know when exactly, but few months ago it wasn't so) all the fonts in PS CS2 are italicized. Even when the face is Regular. When I select Italic they just get italicized way more.
Funny, they all show up straight in the pull-down font menu, but on the image they all become skewed.
I tried different fonts from basic to exotic - same effect.
All the other TrueType/RichText apps (Word, etc) have no such problem.
Does anybody know the cure?
Windows XP, SP2, all the latest updates..:dunno

NAPP Help Desked helped again.
Window|Character, deselect the "faux italic".
Man, I remembered something about "faux" styles, but for the life of me I could not find where did they hide this button..
