Is he skateboarding with a 5D2 and a 28-105L? Maybe doing some video?
Please feel free to post any reworks you do of my images. Crop, skew, munge, edit, share.

    Nice conversion Mole

Ask yourself, how much of a contribution does the partial skater lend or is he a diversion

Its is definitely a canon ,he has it wrapped around his wrist securely,I would agree he is using it for video,if that is the case, he would probably be using 35mm prime, based on my very limited knowledge of video ,but I think this would be a go to lens for this type of thing.

I was thinking it works in the composition as a lead in and I am intrigued by the matching clothing and the white wires . It is a good question you raise ,I am not sure what it contributes to the image,if anything, until I can understand the image better. If the guy in front had tattoos on his arm like the guy with the camera it would almost look like the same guy leaving the frame.

I like the out of place camera with the skateboarder. And the first is absolutely necessary as he gives a context to the cameraman/videographer with them both wearing matching clothes (so anti-counterculture...mwink.gif) and the subject having the wire/headphone hanging around his neck.
