Rather beautiful wasp

At least I think it's a wasp. Possibly more a parasitoid type wasp?
The image is a little harsh in the lighting as I only got one very brief chance to photograph it on the leaf before it RAN away! It came back a little later and alighted on the fence. Again, for only a brief moment. Look at the length and colours in those antennae!
This was was just under 2cm in length so rather larger than your average parasitoid wasp. Brian you any idea on the species?
