Echinopsis Hybrid Bloom

Another cactus bloom. I was interested to see how transparent the stem of this is when back-lit. I think the back of these is as pretty as the front! This bloom lasts a little longer in the day compared to other night blooming cerius, but since it's a hybrid I'm sure that is why.

    Very beautiful flower. Two nice views to show it off-the second is my favorite.

    thanks much, I find these a little difficult to shoot. I wish their blooms lasted to allow for practice! :D

    I just love the first shot. Agree with Richard .. delicate detail thumb.gif Second one is really good too, but for some reason I'm pulled to the first one.

    Thanks, I prefer the first one too. Maybe because its a little diiferent view from most flowers. :D
