Very cute indeed!
I agree on the backgrounds: 1) green bg, green outfit; 3) dark bg, dark skinned girl; 8) dark bg, dark outfit, 9) bg way too colorful. Oh, and you might want to crop/straighten 8) as well.
In the first one, I don't mind the green on green at all. In fact, I kind of like it. But, the pattern in the background keeps drawing my eye away from the subjects. I also would like to see their shoes a bit more defined.
Three looks sort of like a wrinkled bed sheet.
Eight, again too busy and doesn't provide contrast.
Nine...too much color.
Over the years, I've shot my daughter and her friends a lot in their dance costumes, mainly for my own amusement. I have found that if I stick to either a straight black background for drama type shots and white vinyl for the high key type stuff I get the best results. Still good to experiment with other stuff though.
I agree on the wrinkled beadsheet, your not too far off. On the rest I'm tired of seeing white bkg after white bkg. So I was trying to be different from the rest of the guys and gals who do this. I'm doing these in LightRoom and I'm not happy with the light/darkness of some of these. After converting them to jpegs and then opening them up in photoshop they are very dark and I have to keep changing the exposure of lightness of them and I'm not totally happy with all of them.
I did miss a few exposures. I did 55 kids in three and a half hours so it was a rush time sticking to schedule.
More distance from BG & or shorter DOF ... Blow the BG 's out...
Great set...
Your 1st shot of the green girls are to die for... Stinking cute little monkeys...

I guess this might be a taste thing, but in some of them I find the backgrounds to be distracting or maybe competing with the subjects too much.
