Throughout this little series, you've seen an array of the most iconic of all the collectible Ferraris....the 1962 - 1964 GTOs. Stunning cars by any measure, they are all virtually priceless. One recently sold for over 30 million dollars.

Here's a parting look at a few you've yet to see. I hope you've enjoyed seeing these cars as much as I did.

Really enjoyed looking at them, Tom. The "old" cars seems to have more character than the "new" ones. :Dthumb.gif

Great cars and series ! Thanks for taking the time showing them, for the history, also appreciate the knowledge you have shared about photographing cars and types of presentations. Nice consistent processing, well thought out,and very enjoyable to view and learn something new. Much appreciated Tom ,but I still can't get over the fact that their are blue Ferrari's .

I'm with you there, Neil. I think the final price on that sale was $31,800,000. If that's not worthy of an orbit trip, I don't know what would be.:D

    Take care,

I truly appreciate the very kind words.

Addressing all the many Ferrari models made over the years, red is, by far, the dominant Ferrari color. I suspect that blue, in all of it's various shades, is number 2. There is also a fair contingent of yellow ones running around. My '77 308 GTB was black with red leather interior....unquestionably, the most beautiful car I ever owned.

    Be well,

Red & Black just beautiful ! I saw a yellow and black Harley Davidson yesterday and the rider was wearing yellow shirt with a black vest , very nice color contrast ,but not as nice as Red & Black IMO,however I just seem to equate Ferrari's with Red especially the Testarossa .
