I took a bike ride today up into the Snowys (Snowy Range, Wyoming).

It was windy, cold and I got hit with a near whiteout blizzard at 12,000 ft. on my bike, I HAD A GREAT TIME!

My trusty steed, an '08 V-Strom 650. This bike has taken me everywhere, even some pretty extreme 4x4 trails.

The "trees" at the top, you can see which way the prevailing winds blow

I rode the Snowies in the first week of June, 2005 on a Suzy DR650, with a bunch of crazy KTM club riders, and I remember it was cold, windy, and bleak, like your pictures.

    Ride safely.

I have photos of my Harley parked up against the snow in Yellowstone. No white out though. I do have to admit I absolutely hate riding in strong winds!!!
