A few snaps. (13)
As a construction worker, in my line of work it's feast or famine.
Work has been good lately, but I've been starving in the picture taking department.
So work finally let up a couple of weeks ago, and I've been able to get out a bit.
While at work, one of the guys told me about a fox den near his home.
Adam and I grabbed the cameras, and although I didn't get the National Geographic shots I had hoped for, I got a few keepers.
These are with a Sony Nex 7, with a Canon FD 100-300L lens. (manual focus, no i.s.)
A quick trip to the wildlife refuge birdfeeders gave me a good chance to try the Sony combo with a 2X extender.
There's a pond near there also, so I got a couple of turtles sunning themselves.
After shooting these, Adam told me of a place that had a family of Barred Owls.
For those, cause owls elude me so well, I brought the Canon 5DMKII with a Canon 300L F2.8 and 2X TC.
Mom standing guard
Youngin hiding in the tree.
And, Mom giving me the evil eye.
I did get a couple of fox shots with the Canon also.
And hey, what's a post without an eagle shot.
As always, thanks for looking.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
Harry, I know you've been sick lately, so I saved you some pain by not posting the squirrel shots.

Thanks Jim, that's why I always try to have one in my posts.
