D800 file recovery
I took the first image below totally under exposed to see how much I could recover from a D800 file.
The second image is the result of bumping up the exposure in LightRoom, nothing else done to the image.
This was shot at f/1.8 focusing on the nose. The D800 can take pictures in the dark!
