Hobbies challenge-Drumming it up

My son decided that his drums would make for a good hobby shoot. I'm so glad for his suggestion; the color of his room, the morning light, and the brass of the cymbal, lended itself to such a warm glow. Just can't decide which shot to pursue. Any thoughts and/or suggetions?

SF I like the look of the 1st close up to those cymbals/the angle - but it could do with something extra, perhaps your son behind them? Nice idea and may be worth playing around with your shutter speed whilst your son gives them a good thrashing? Nice colours too.

I like the inclusion of the drummer in #4 and #7. Gives it a better feel.

No 7 would be my pick, the colour shots look best, and this one shows more of the drums and the "hobbyist" as well.

Yea, I'm leaning towards #7 shot as well.
If the color/lighting look ok , I may use that one
(of course, that is subject to change)
