San Gabriel eaton canyon waterfall

    I really like the details in the rock and colors in this photo. I am not sure if it I like the top of the waterfall centered but, I really like the flow of the water and rocks at the bottom of the image. hmmm, maybe something to play with. But still a great image. thumb.gif

    hmmm, well after playing with it I would have to say that the cemetery is what the photo is partly about. My original thought was have the waterfall over more to the left and have more scenery to the right. But no matter how I cropped it just was not the same without the rocks and water at the bottom. So I have to say that I would not change a thing.

    I think the strong triangular shadow and the little bonus cascade at the bottom really make the symmetry work in the original image. In my opinion, there's a lot going on in this deceptively simple picture. I like it a lot.

    No, I was actually talking about the first one. It's my favorite of the two, by far.
