I'm trying to upload some videos from our Go Pro and for some reason only 2 min and 11 seconds of the videos are uploading. Not seeing any errors and it showed that the video completed uploading. Havent had any problems in the past, but for the past month I havent been able to get an entire video to upload.

The videos are around 300mb and apprx 5 min long.

Heres the gallery Im working on: http://www.heidicooperphotography.com/Personal/Riding-Videos/2012-05-28-Eddieville/23240908_nzBWF9#!i=1876559985&k=rNxC3jj

Thanks,
Heidi

What uploader? I always use the "Simple" uploader with no problems. Might try that.

    Heidi,
For errors, you can look at the control panel > stats tab > upload log. If the upload is more than 24h ago, you can click on "week" or "month" at the top center to see older messages.
The "incomplete file" error indicates that we didn't receive the file entirely. That may be due to a connection or security software issue.
"Invalid file type" means that the file isn't in a format that we support or possibly is corrupted. You could try converting your video with the free Handbrake tool to see if that corrects the issue. It's available from here:
    www.handbrake.fr
Just open your video in it, select the 'regular > normal profile' and click on convert.

If you continue to have an issue, I suggest you contact our HelpDesk so we can troubleshoot this with you.

Usually if an error is detected, video (or photo) doesn't post at all, right? I've never seen an incomplete video get posted (although have seen "incomplete file" errors many times). Is this what happens when using the API but not passing Content-Length or Content-MD5, so the backend doesn't know what to expect?

There are cases, for example where antivirus, firewall and internet security software interferes, so uploader and our server can't properly communicate.
I'd recommend after an important upload to always check the upload log to be on the safe side. If the upload went fine and the upload log doesn't show any errors, all should be well.
If there are errors in the upload log, change it to "show all uploads" to see if the error was corrected by the uploader by it uploading the file in question again.
