Hi folks, sorry for the delay, but things got busy this weekend.

I like to thank all of you for participating in the Mini, be it entering, or commenting on someone else's pic.

I downloaded all the shots from the thread to my computer.
I viewed the shots in Bridge, and got the number down to 12.

These are the 12.

(I just downloaded this app, I had to try it out)

Of these shots, I picked my 3 favorites.
I guess on this day, I kind of went with attitude.

3rd Place - chrisdg

Lets face it, the hair did it for me.

2nd Place - DsrtVW

This humming bird, with it beak slightly upturned as if to say "I'm to good for you." with it's
great color and beautiful background really catches the eye.
I flipped back and forth between this one and the winner for a good while.

Winner - Snowgirl

When I started this Mini I was going to exclude pets, but I knew that by doing that,
I would have excluded some people out of it. I didn't want to do that.

So i see Snowgirl's shot and think, eh, its a cat, and kind of quickly scan by it while it's on the net.
After downloading, I take more time on all the shots, pretty soon I'm looking at this shot more and more.
I'm trying to figure out if it's her cat or a stray. Is it annoyed by having it's photo taken, or by her just being there.
Then I see the Smug look, that look of really, you can't be doing what I think your doing.
I see in my mind the cat taking a deep breathe, turning, and walking away.

Because of these thoughts that I could go through, with a photo of an ordinary house cat, it has to be my winner.

Snowgirl, the Mini now belongs to you.

Thanks so much to the folks that made comments.
It always helps to know that someone appreciates one of your photos.

    Thank you
Thank you so much. I was quite stunned to get a congratulatory email this morning while sipping that first cup of java.

The cat with catitude is a barn cat that lives at a friend's place. I shooting a horse event and she kept walking across the fence line in front of me. Eventually she parked on a fence post and gave me "the look" that clearly suggested what I could do with my camera, an anatomical impossibility, so I had to capture that.

I will get back to everyone by tomorrow with a new challenge for the coming weeks. Thank you again.:D

Well done, Ceci! Leave it to you to make something special out of a plain ole barn mouser! :D Good work!!
