This is really wonderful work

And looking at it I am once again struck by how images from the first half of the 1960s often look much more like they were taken in the 1950s, '40s, or even 1930s, than as if they were taken just two or three years later.

    It is wonderful. I can't believe she never had a gallery show in the US.
    The use of a camera is similar to that of a knife. You can use it to peel potatoes, or carve a flute. ~ E. Kahlmeyer
